Sacha McMeeking

Sacha McMeeking serves as the Executive Director for Māori, Pacific, and Equity at the University of Canterbury and is the Head of School for Aotahi - School of Māori and Indigenous Studies. With extensive leadership experience, Sacha is a Co-Founder of Tū Māia and the Maui Lab, and has held positions such as Trustee at WWF New Zealand and the Hilary Institute. Additional roles include Co-Director of Tokona Te Raki and Co-Founder of Ministry of Awesome. Sacha's academic background includes a Master of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Laws from the University of Canterbury, focusing on constitutional law, international human rights, and indigenous customary law.
