Xiaobing Wu

Xiaobing Wu is a Senior Research Engineer at the Wireless Research Centre, Faculty of Engineering, University of Canterbury since October 2015, focusing on research and collaboration with industry partners. Previously, Xiaobing worked at Nanjing University from March 2009 to October 2015 as an Associate Professor and earlier as an Assistant Professor, where responsibilities included overseeing postgraduate students and engaging in research and teaching. Xiaobing's career began as a Software Engineer at China Merchants Bank from July 2003 to August 2005, developing mainframe software for the banking sector. Academic credentials include a PhD in Computer Science from Nanjing University (2005-2008), a Visiting Scholar position at Illinois Institute of Technology (2007-2008), a Master's Degree from Wuhan University (2000-2003), and a Bachelor's Degree from the same institution (1996-2000).
