Jayarani Raju

Jayarani Raju is the current Head of Knowledge & Information Stewardship at University of Cape Town. Jayarani has held this position since January 2012. Prior to that, they were an Associate Professor and Head of the Library and Information Studies Centre at the same university from January 2011 to December 2011.

Jayarani Raju obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Information Studies from the University of KwaZulu-Natal / University of Natal.

Jayarani Raju reports to Mamokgethi Phakeng, Vice-Chancellor. They are on a team with Susan Levine - Head of Social Anthropology, Zwelethu Jolobe - Head of Political Studies, and Roman Roth - Head of Languages & Literature.
