Derek Flint

Derek Flint is an experienced professional with a diverse background encompassing over 19 years in training and development, currently serving as a Lecturer and Senior Lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire since April 2021. In addition to academic roles, Derek Flint is a Trainer and Executive Coach at KBO Training and Coaching Services, offering coaching across various sectors. Previous experience includes project coordination and management roles, co-founding Isle of Man Distillers Ltd to innovate quality spirit production, co-founding SUPERTOUR to create high-end automotive events, and co-founding Pretty Liberty for media and entertainment. Derek Flint also has over 25 years of policing experience, with 12 years at the senior rank of Inspector, overseeing critical incident command and firearms operations.
