Susan Stevenson

Susan Stevenson, PhD, is a Professor at the University of Central Missouri, where academic responsibilities have included roles as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor since July 2002. In addition to university teaching, Susan has been working as a self-employed Fiber Artist since January 2006, specializing in painting, dyeing, distressing, and stitching on fabric. Susan's educational background includes a PhD in Human Environmental Sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia (2006), a Master's degree in Housing, Interior Design and Resource Management from Virginia Tech (2002), and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Virginia Tech (1991). Prior to the current position, Susan was an Adjunct Faculty member at Virginia Tech from August 2001 to May 2002.
