D. Tyler Coyle

D. Tyler Coyle is an accomplished Associate Professor at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus since November 2018, focusing on Psychiatry and serving as Co-Director of the Division of Addiction Science, Prevention, & Treatment. Coyle also oversees the Preventive Medicine Residency program. Prior to this role, Coyle held positions as Assistant Medical Director and Assistant Professor within the Department of Psychiatry. Experience includes serving as a Staff Physician at the Elaine Ellis Center of Health and as a Medical Epidemiologist at the FDA. Coyle completed a Chief Residency in Preventive Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical System and has undergone multiple residencies in Neurology and Internal Medicine. Coyle earned a Doctor of Medicine from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, a Master of Science in Epidemiology from the University of Maryland Baltimore, and a Bachelor of Arts in History of Science and History of Medicine from Yale University.
