Etienne Danis

Senior Research Instructor at University of Colorado Cancer Center

Etienne Danis, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Research Instructor and Bioinformatics Research Associate at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, focusing on cancer research and next-generation sequencing experiments. With experience in analyzing ChIP-seq, CUT&RUN, ATAC-seq, RNA-seq, Hi-C, and microarray data, Etienne also teaches NGS data analysis. Previous research includes studying epigenetic dysregulations in pediatric brain tumors and the role of epigenetics in leukemia. Etienne was the Chief Executive Officer of the Academia Industry Alliance and co-founder of the Rocky Mountain BioTechnology Symposium, which attracted over 500 registrants and featured 37 life science companies. Educational background includes a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Montpellier, complemented by postdoctoral fellowship training focused on transcriptional networks in breast cancer at the University of California, San Diego.
