Lauren Fontana

Lauren Fontana currently serves as the Director of the Office of Disability, Access, & Inclusion at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, a role assumed in January 2022 after previously holding the position of Associate Director. In these positions, responsibilities include supervising access coordinators and implementing academic and clinical accommodations. Prior experience includes roles as the Affirmative Action Coordinator and ADA Coordinator at the University of Colorado Denver, where Lauren developed affirmative action plans and coordinated responses to ADA accommodation requests. Additional roles encompass extensive civil rights legal practice, including serving as a Staff Attorney at the Civil Rights Education & Enforcement Center and representing clients in civil rights cases at Killmer, Lane & Newman LLP. Lauren Fontana earned a Doctor of Law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan.
