Julie Gehring

Julie Gehring currently serves as the Director of Mentorship & Student Development at UConn Werth Institute, enhancing entrepreneurship and innovation programs at the University of Connecticut. In addition to this role, Julie teaches communication courses at the University of Connecticut, including Introduction to Public Speaking and Foundations of Communication. As the CEO of J Gehring Communication LLC since 2016, Julie has built expertise in communication strategies. Previous positions include Associate Lecturer at the University of Massachusetts Boston and Curry College, as well as a role in community relations and mentoring at Mother Caroline Academy. Julie holds a Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing and Communication from Emerson College and is pursuing a doctoral degree in Learning, Leadership, and Education Policy at the University of Connecticut.
