Kara Flynn

Kara Flynn is an experienced archives and education professional with a focus on integrating collections into academic curricula. Currently serving as the Archives Education and Outreach Coordinator at the University of Connecticut, Kara collaborates with faculty and staff to develop educational initiatives and partnerships. Previously, Kara held several roles at the University of Arkansas, including Education & Engagement Archivist and Research and Educational Services Archivist, where expertise in user support and curriculum integration was demonstrated. Kara's earlier positions include roles at Augusta University, the Senator John Heinz History Center, and Haverford College, emphasizing collection management, outreach, and archival processing. Kara holds a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science with a concentration in Archives from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor's Degree in English, Sociology, and Anthropology from the University of Puget Sound.
