Sarah Bodenstein is a Regional Aquaculture Liaison for CT Sea Grant at the University of Connecticut, focusing on translating aquaculture research to the Northeast industry. Previously, Sarah served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Louisiana State University and Louisiana Sea Grant, leading projects to assess juvenile rearing practices for oysters to enhance resilience amid climate change. Sarah completed a PhD in Fisheries and Aquaculture at Louisiana State University, where research included developing integrated pathways in aquaculture systems. Sarah holds a Master’s degree in Aquaculture from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science and Biology from the University of Miami.
