Andrew Horner

EVP of Business & Administrative Services at University of Dayton

Andrew Horner is the Executive Vice President of Business and Administrative Services at University of Dayton. Andrew has held this position since January 2015. Prior to that, they were the Vice President for Research Finance and Operations at Boston University from April 2010 to January 2015. Andrew was responsible for providing research administration services to the Boston University research community, including direct responsibility for the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) and Post-Award Financial Operations (PAFO) and Sourcing & Procurement services. Andrew reported directly to the Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer, with secondary reporting line to the University Provost.

Before joining Boston University, Horner was a Director at Huron Consulting Group from May 2002 to April 2010. Andrew was part of the Health and Education Consulting divisions of Huron and the Strategic Grants Management Services service team. Their focus was on Research Administration and Compliance.

Horner began their career at Arthur Andersen in September 1999 as a Senior. Andrew left Arthur Andersen in May 2002 to join Huron Consulting Group.

Andrew Horner completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at the Questrom School of Business with a finance concentration. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) at the University of Notre Dame in psychology and computer applications.

Andrew Horner reports to Eric F. Spina, President & Board Member. They work with Rick Krysiak - Vice President for Facilities Management and Planning, Paul H. Benson - Provost and Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs, and William Fischer, J.D. - Vice President for Student Development.
