Patrick McMahon

Patrick McMahon is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in laboratory management and computing operations. Currently serving as the Manager of Computing Operations for the Sciences at the University of Delaware since August 2001, Patrick oversees the departmental computing infrastructure for the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department, managing a range of computing resources including clusters and servers. Prior to this role, Patrick was the Vice President at Advanced Systems, Inc., where expertise in laboratory design and information system management was developed over eighteen years. Earlier in career history, Patrick worked as a Lab Chemist at Artesian Labs, overseeing technical and administrative functions for a team of twenty-five staff. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Delaware.
