Whiquitta Tobar

Whiquitta Tobar currently serves as the Racial Equity & Inclusion Director at the University of Delaware, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this role, Whiquitta was the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer at Community Legal Services from 2017 to October 2023, where additional responsibilities included serving as a Disability Justice Attorney and Youth Justice Attorney, focusing on connecting transition-aged, system-involved youth to civil legal services as a Stoneleigh Emerging Leader Fellow. Whiquitta's previous experience includes serving as a Zubrow Fellow and Staff Attorney at the Juvenile Law Center from August 2015 to August 2017. Whiquitta holds a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center (2012-2015) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University.
