Anita Sharma

Anita Sharma is an accomplished educator and leader in mathematics education, currently serving as the General Secretary of the Delhi Association of Mathematics Teachers and a member of the General Council of NCERT, nominated by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. With extensive experience as the Head of Institution at S.D. Public School, visiting faculty at Delhi University, and a member of the Governing Body at Kasturi Ram College of Education, Anita has been instrumental in teacher training initiatives for over three decades, having trained more than 10,000 educators across India and the Middle East. Notably, Anita played a key role in developing the National Curriculum Framework for Mathematics Education aligned with the National Education Policy 2020 and coordinated curriculum design for the Bharatiya Shiksha Board. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Education from Delhi University, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Hansraj College and Miranda House, respectively.
