Balaganapathi Devarakonda

Balaganapathi Devarakonda is a Professor of Philosophy at Delhi University since January 2015. In addition to the current role, Balaganapathi served as the ICCR Chair of Indology and Gandhian Studies at The University of the West Indies, Mona, from May 2022 to May 2024, where responsibilities included teaching and collaborating with the Indian High Commission in Jamaica to promote Indology. Balaganapathi also actively engaged with both the Indian diaspora and the Jamaican community, delivering over 100 public lectures on various philosophical themes. Balaganapathi earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philosophy from the University of Hyderabad between 1998 and 2004.
