Jian Sun

Jian Sun is a knowledgeable academic and software engineer with extensive experience in teaching, research, and data analysis. Currently serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Denver since September 2020, Jian Sun assists with various engineering and machine learning courses. Additional roles include Graduate Assistant and Python Tutor at the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business, as well as guest lecturer on topics such as XODR, XIDR, and advanced Python operations. Jian Sun has presented research at the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society conference and has a background in software engineering, having interned at Dream Face Technologies to develop computer vision algorithms. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Denver, an M.S. in Statistics from The George Washington University, and a B.S. in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Shandong Agricultural University.
