David Metzbower serves as the Assistant Lacrosse Coach at the University of Denver since August 2023. Previously, David held the roles of Associate Head Lacrosse Coach and Assistant Lacrosse Coach at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from July 2014 to June 2023. Prior coaching experience includes positions as Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Loyola University Maryland, Head Lacrosse Coach at Malvern Preparatory School, and President of Gold Medal Lacrosse Recruiting. David’s extensive coaching background began at Princeton University, where David served as Associate Head Coach from September 1989 to August 2009, and attributes early coaching experience to the University of Delaware as an Assistant Coach from September 1986 to June 1989. David Metzbower earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Delaware, having attended the United States Naval Academy from 1982 to 1984.
