James Odonnell

James O'Donnell currently serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business, specializing in the Outdoor Recreation Industry and Daniels Professional Development programs. Prior to this role, James held various leadership positions at Vail Resorts from January 2002 to March 2023, culminating in the role of President of the Mountain Division, where oversight extended to 41 ski resorts across four countries. Other significant roles included Executive Vice President for Hospitality, Retail, Rental & Real Estate, and Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer for the Hospitality & Real Estate Divisions, contributing to substantial revenue growth and operational success. Earlier in his career, James was a Senior Manager at Arthur Andersen, focusing on the hospitality and travel/leisure sectors. James earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami in 1999.
