Karen Ramon

Karen Ramon, MBA, currently serves as the Business Officer at the University of Denver since September 2021. Prior to this role, Ramon worked as an Accountant and Instructional Designer for HERS, focusing on the development of online professional courses and support for facilitators. From August 2013 to July 2019, Ramon held dual roles as Director of Business Outreach and Business Instructor at STEM School Highlands Ranch, where responsibilities included forming partnerships for career discovery and developing a Career and Technical Education business program. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Operations for Girls in STEM Denver, managing financial operations and human resources, and teaching mathematics at Arapahoe Community College. Earlier roles involved human resources coordination at Advanced Energy and training administration at Red Hawk Industries. Ramon earned an MBA from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Colorado State University.
