Katie Hensien is a dedicated alpine athlete and entrepreneur with significant achievements in competitive skiing. As a current C Team Alpine Athlete for the US Ski and Snowboard Association since May 2017, Katie was nominated to the US Ski Team at the age of 16, with notable successes including a Top 10 finish in the 2019 NorAm Cup Standings. Additionally, Katie is a member of the NCAA Division 1 Ski Team at the University of Denver, where an athletic scholarship led to victories in both NCAA and NorAm races. Katie also contributes to the sport as a ski coach at Keely’s Ski Camp for Girls, having transitioned from camper to coach intern since 2011. In 2019, Katie founded Burro Almond Butter, aiming to create a better tasting and affordable nut butter. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Entrepreneurship from the University of Denver and a high school diploma from Rowland Hall.
