Mark Aoyagi

Mark Aoyagi is an experienced mental health practitioner and sport psychologist currently serving the Los Angeles Dodgers since May 2022, where responsibilities include fostering a culture of mental health awareness and designing emergency action plans for affiliate teams. Aoyagi has been a Senior Consultant at Sport & Performance Excellence Consultants since January 2012, offering performance consulting across various levels of athletics. Aoyagi also acts as the Co-Director of Sport & Performance Psychology and Professor at the University of Denver, overseeing the MA program administration and curriculum design since September 2007. Notable past roles include serving as a sport psychologist for the Denver Broncos and providing consulting services to USA Track & Field and the Denver Nuggets. Aoyagi holds a PhD in Counseling/Sport Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, along with advanced degrees in Kinesiology and Psychology.
