Shalyn Kettering is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver since March 2024, while also holding the position of Legal Counsel to the Attorney General at the Colorado Attorney General's Office since July 2021. Shalyn began a legal career as an Associate at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP from March 2018 to June 2021, preceded by a role as Law Clerk for the Honorable Chief Justice Nancy Rice at the Colorado Supreme Court from September 2016 to September 2017. Additional experience includes summer associate work at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP, a Dean's Fellow role at the University of Colorado School of Law, and several legal internships, including with the Colorado Attorney General's Office and the Office of the Governor. Shalyn holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the University of Colorado and a B.S. in International Studies from Northwestern University, where studies focused on Learning and Organizational Change.
