Saeed al Dhaheri

Saeed Al Dhaheri currently serves as Chair Professor at the Harbin Institute of Technology, leading research and development initiatives in AI-led leadership training and technology transfer. Holding a prominent position as Chair of the AI Working Group for the International Telecommunication Union, Al Dhaheri focuses on exploring how emerging technologies transform urban environments in the context of virtual worlds. As a Commissioner for the Global Commission on Responsible Artificial Intelligence in the Military Domain, efforts are directed toward fostering dialogue on AI governance in military contexts. Al Dhaheri also contributes as an advisor to TRENDS Research & Advisory, the World Ethical Data Foundation, and the International Moon Day initiative while playing a strategic role on the Steering Committee of Chapter Zero UAE. Additionally, Al Dhaheri is involved in academia through positions at the University of Dubai and the University of Oxford. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University, alongside multiple certificates in leadership and diplomatic studies from esteemed institutions.
