Renia Correya

Renia Correya is currently a Bioinformatics Scientist and Research Software Engineer at the University of Dundee, a position held since March 2024. Previously, Renia worked as an Associate at Cognizant from February 2022 to July 2022 and as a System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services from November 2017 to February 2022, focusing on a US client project in the retail domain. Renia also held the role of Assistant System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services and was a Project Intern where frontend and backend development was completed for a workflow management web application using PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, and CSS. Renia holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of St Andrews and a Master's degree in Computer Applications from Cochin University of Science and Technology. An earlier Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications was earned from Mahatma Gandhi University.
