Yiliang Ding

Honorary Professor at University of East Anglia

Yiliang Ding has an extensive background in biological sciences, currently serving as a Group Leader at the John Innes Centre since August 2014 and as an Honorary Professor at the University of East Anglia from July 2024. Yiliang also holds the position of Honorary Group Leader at The Babraham Institute and previously served as an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of East Anglia. While at Penn State University from January 2010 to December 2013, Yiliang was a Joint Postdoc Scholar collaborating with notable professors. Additional experience includes a visiting postdoc role at The University of Dundee in late 2009 and a PhD rotation program at the John Innes Centre from 2005 to 2009. Yiliang completed undergraduate studies in Plant Sciences at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and earned a PhD in Biology from the University of East Anglia.
