Marek Szopa

Marek Szopa is a distinguished professor at the University of Economics in Katowice since October 2019, specializing in the applications of game theory in economics, including quantum games and decision-making. Additionally, Marek Szopa serves as an Advisory Council Member for Sektorowa Rada Usługi Rozwojowe and has held various leadership positions including President of the Polish Society of Business Trainers and Management Board Member of the Polish Chamber of Training Companies. With extensive experience as a consultant specializing in strategic thinking and negotiation, Marek Szopa also lectures at Krajowa Szkoła Administracji Publicznej and trains at institutions such as Wyższa Szkoła Europejska and Wyższa Szkoła Bankowości i Finansów w Katowicach. Marek Szopa holds a PhD in condensed matter physics from the University of Silesia, obtained from 1977 to 1982.
