Rafał Żelazny

Rafał Żelazny currently serves as the President of the Board at Katowicka Specjalna Strefa Ekonomiczna S.A. since September 2022, having previously held the position of Vice President and Member of the Board. Alongside this role, Rafał serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Economics in Katowice since October 2021. Prior experience includes positions as Risk & Finance Manager and Senior Controlling Specialist at Future Processing from January 2017 to October 2022, as well as Vice Chairman at The City Council of Tychy from November 2018 to June 2022. Rafał's tenure at the University of Economics in Katowice spans from October 1999 to September 2019, where earlier roles included Assistant. Additionally, Rafał was the Chief Consultant of the Silesian Information Society Development Strategy Team from October 2009 to October 2015. Rafał holds a postdoctoral degree in Economics and Finance, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics, and a Master of Science in Economics, all from the University of Economics in Katowice.
