Rachel Sloan

Rachel Sloan is an Employability and Careers Consultant at the University of Exeter, with extensive experience in delivering employability skills and guidance. Since July 2013, Rachel has led the Skills Team, managing programs like "Create Your Future," and providing tailored support to students, particularly within the MSc Financial Analysis and Fund Management cohort. Previous roles include delivering sessions on soft skills, coordinating the award-winning eXfactor program for over 7,000 students, and supporting the involvement of alumni and employers. Prior experience includes a Senior Sales Assistant role at Thorntons and serving as a Student Ambassador at the University of Exeter. Rachel holds an MA in Critical Global Politics and a BA in Politics and International Studies from the University of Exeter, along with a Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship in Career Development Professional.
