Valentina Todino

Valentina Todino is an experienced professional currently serving as a Drop-in Support Worker and Drop-in Coordinator at Refugee Support (Devon) Ltd since September 2021. Valentina also holds the position of Honorary Associate Research Fellow at the University of Exeter, focusing on Cultural Translation and Identity, while actively teaching in the Department of Modern Languages and the Foreign Language Centre. With a background that includes community engagement initiatives for archive interviews, Valentina has been a Cultural Champion at Devon Development Education since 2005 and teaches Italian language and culture classes for adults at Italiano Exeter since 2017. Previously, Valentina was a teacher with the Workers' Educational Association from 2012 to 2016. Valentina earned a Master of Arts in Applied Translation from the University of Exeter between 2005 and 2007.
