Christelle Borel

Christelle Borel has extensive experience in academia and research, currently serving as an Enseignante at Université de Genève since January 2013, where Borel co-leads the 1st year of Bachelor at the Faculty of Medicine and leads the Human Genetics and Genomics teaching programs. Additionally, Borel has held senior research associate positions in prominent laboratories from 2013 to 2023, contributing to the fields of genetics and genomics. Prior roles include assistant professor at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and maître-assistante at Université de Genève. Borel's educational background includes post-doctoral fellowships in Human Genomics and Virology at the University of Geneva and a Ph.D. in Life Sciences from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1.
