George Moore

Student Body President at University of Georgia

George Moore has a diverse work experience in the political and legal field. George started their career as a United States Senate Page in 2019, where they assisted in the daily operations of the Senate chamber and attended academic classes. George then worked as a Legislative Aide in the Georgia State Senate from 2018 to 2020. In 2022, they interned at Dentons as a Legal Intern, specializing in Public Policy. George also gained leadership experience at The University of Georgia, where they served as the Student Body President and President of Russell Hall. George also worked as a Tour Leader during their time at the university. Currently, George is a Legislative Intern at the Georgia General Assembly House of Representatives, starting in 2024.

George Moore has a High School Diploma from Stephens County High School, which they obtained from 2016 to 2020. George is currently pursuing a B.A. in International Affairs and B.A. in Political Science at The University of Georgia, expected to be completed in 2024. George is also a part of the Morehead Honors College at the university. In 2022, they obtained a Certificate in Personal and Organizational Leadership from the University of Georgia - Institute for Leadership Advancement. Additionally, they completed a Professional Public Affairs Certificate in Applied Politics from the UGA School of Public and International Affairs. George also attended the U.S. Senate Page School until 2019. In 2018, they obtained an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate with additional specialties. Lastly, in 2023, they participated in the SPIA a Firenze program at the UGA School of Public and International Affairs.
