Megan Caputo Corbett

Megan Caputo Corbett is a Veterinary Anatomic Pathology Resident at The University of Georgia since July 2021, with extensive experience in post-mortem examinations, histopathology, and mentoring veterinary students. Prior to this role, Megan served as a Veterinary Medical Scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2013 to July 2021, managing experiments on neuroinflammation in piglets and providing clinical support. Additional experience includes a Visiting Research Scholar position at Temple University School of Medicine, a Graduate Research Assistant role at the University of Delaware, and work as an Adoption Counselor and Kennel Staff at the Animal Welfare Association. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a PhD in Nutrition Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Master’s in Animal Sciences from the University of Delaware, and a Bachelor’s in Biology from Temple University.
