Neal L Millar currently serves as a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Musculoskeletal Science at the University of Glasgow since August 2021, while also holding the position of Senior Clinical Lecturer in Orthopaedic Surgery since January 2018. Prior roles include Scottish Senior Clinical Research Fellow and Honorary Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the University of Glasgow from August 2011 to January 2018, and an Early Postdoctoral Training Fellow at Wellcome Trust from August 2013 to January 2017. Additionally, Neal L Millar was a Visiting Fellow in the Shoulder Service at The Mount Sinai Hospital in 2013-2014. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Immunology from the University of Glasgow (2008-2012), a Fellowship in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and an MBChB in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Glasgow (1996-2001).
