Kami Valkova

Kami Valkova currently serves as a Graduate & Research Program Assistant at the University of Guelph since October 2023. Previously, Kami was a Community Manager at Rumie from November 2020 to June 2023, where the role involved building a vibrant learning community on Discord and facilitating virtual workshops. At High Park Nature Centre, Kami held several positions from May 2017 to October 2020, including Nature Clubs Coordinator and Nature Educator, delivering interpretive programming for various age groups. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Queen's University, a STEM Instructor, and positions at the University of Guelph, including as a Bookstore Sales Associate and Undergraduate Research Assistant. Education includes a Master of Education in Outdoor Education from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from the University of Guelph, with a current enrollment in a micro-credential program for Employment & Career Coaching Essentials at Conestoga College.
