Nigel Raine

Nigel Raine currently serves as the Rebanks Family Chair in Pollinator Conservation at the University of Guelph since May 2014. In addition to this role, Nigel holds positions as an Academic Editor for PLoS One and as an Editorial Board Member for the Journal of Zoology. Previous experience includes council membership with the International Bee Research Association and academic appointments at Royal Holloway, University of London, where notable titles included Visiting Professor, Reader, and Senior Lecturer in Animal Behaviour. Nigel's early career featured postdoctoral research at Queen Mary, University of London, the University of Sheffield, and a brief stint as a Visiting Researcher at the Institute of Zoology. Academic qualifications comprise a DPhil and a BA in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford.
