Bodo Saake

Bodo Saake is an experienced academic and researcher specializing in wood science and technology. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the Institute of Wood Science and a Professor of Chemical Wood Technology at Universität Hamburg since March 2010, Bodo also has a background as a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Wood Research, Thuenen Institut from January 2008 to February 2010, and as a Research Scientist at the Institute for Wood Chemistry and Chemical Technology of Wood, BFH from January 1994 to December 2007. Earlier in Bodo's career, a postdoctoral fellowship was completed at McGill University in the Faculty of Science, emphasizing lignin chemistry.
