Chaitanya Pankhania

Interim Head of Student Wellbeing, Counselling & Mental Health at University of Hertfordshire

Chaitanya Pankhania is the interim head of student wellbeing, counselling, and mental health at the University of Hertfordshire. Chaitanya has worked as a psychotherapist and hypnotherapist at Harley Street from April 2016 to September 2016. Prior to that, Chaitanya worked as a drug and alcohol counselor at KCA from January 2015 to March 2016. Chaitanya has also worked as a psychotherapist at Leicester Counseling Centre and Mind from January 2010 to December 2013. In addition to their work as a psychotherapist, Chaitanya has also provided personal development training and workshops.

Chaitanya Pankhania has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology from the University of Birmingham. They are also a certified NLP master practitioner and have a degree in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy from Beeleaf institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy.

Their manager is Geraldine Ward, Dean of Students. They work with Claire Hartridge - Deputy Dean of Students, Fiona Souter - Head of Chaplaincy, and Karen Conroy - Head of University Day Nursery.
