Lynette Cook-Francis

Lynette Cook-Francis currently serves as the Special Advisor to the President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at the University of Houston-Downtown and as the Interim Vice President of Student Success and Student Life. As the President and CEO of Cook-Francis Consulting, Lynette brings extensive leadership experience in higher education, particularly in Enrollment Management, Student Success, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and communications strategy. Previous roles include Senior Vice President for Student Engagement and Enrollment Management at Simmons University, Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs at John Jay College (CUNY), and Vice President for Student Affairs at the University of Arizona. Lynette's career is marked by a commitment to enhancing student experiences, increasing diversity and inclusion, and implementing impactful student support programs. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Education from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as ABD status in Educational Leadership and Administration from Northern Arizona University.
