Natacha Poggio

Associate Professor Of Design at University of Houston-Downtown

Natacha Poggio is an accomplished design educator and entrepreneur with extensive experience in various roles within the design community. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Design at the University of Houston-Downtown since September 2018, Natacha also founded and leads Design Global Change, a creative think tank focused on utilizing design for social impact. As a Climate Reality Leader with The Climate Reality Project, Natacha is actively engaged in climate advocacy. In addition, Natacha holds the position of Chief Innovation Officer at Create Sparks, where innovation and design research are emphasized. Contributions to the Winterhouse Institute as an educator, participation in the Global Health Innovation Conference as a speaker, and roles in AIGA Design, including Chapter Advisory Council Member and Design for Good Chair, further highlight Natacha’s commitment to design education and advocacy. Natacha's academic credentials include a Master of Fine Arts in Design from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Buenos Aires.
