Melinda Stone, Ed.D, currently serves as the High School Principal at James E. Taylor High School within Katy ISD, a position held since August 1998. Previously, Melinda held roles as the Junior High Principal at WoodCreek Junior High, Associate Principal, and Assistant Principal, gaining extensive experience in staff management, evaluations, and building maintenance. Additionally, Melinda started as an Instructional Technology Facilitator, assisting educators with technology integration and curriculum development for Spanish language courses. Currently, Melinda is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston-Victoria and an Adjunct Field Supervisor at Lamar University. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Spanish from the University of Arkansas, a Master's degree in Instructional Technology and Educational Management, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Past experience also includes working as a Sports Producer for WKRN News 2.
