Farah Hammami

Instructional Assistant Professor at University of Houston

Farah Hammami currently serves as an Instructional Assistant Professor and University Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Houston since January 2011. In addition to teaching, Farah has experience as a Research Assistant and Instructor for the ENGI1100H "Introduction to Engineering" course within the Honors Engineering Program. Previous roles include a Research Engineer Intern at UPC School, focusing on composite material damage detection, and a Research Engineer Intern at SNCFT, where Farah studied train wheel crack propagation. Additional internships at FLERTEX and Al-Maaden involved research on material properties and observing manufacturing processes, respectively. Farah holds a Ph.D. in Nanotechnology from the University of Houston and a Master's Degree in Computational Mechanics from Tunisia Polytechnic School.
