Hao Huang

Dr. Hao Huang is a distinguished academic and industry leader in electrical engineering, currently serving as Retired Technology Chief at GE Aviation—Electrical Power and Distinguished Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston since May 2020. Prior to this role, Dr. Huang was the Technology Chief at GE Aerospace from August 2007 to April 2020 and held the position of Chief Scientist at Smiths Aerospace from May 2006 to May 2007, focusing on innovation strategies and product roadmaps within the aircraft electrical power sector. Dr. Huang earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder between 1984 and 1987 and is recognized as an IEEE and SAE Fellow.
