Ron Hopkins

Ron Hopkins is an accomplished academic and professional with extensive experience in technology and management. Currently, Ron serves as the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and a Professor at the University of Houston, where Ron has also held the position of Interim Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Director of the Graduate Technical Project Management Program. Prior to academia, Ron spent over a decade at Shell, where Ron was involved in global business change management and held various leadership roles, including Global Business Systems Manager and Global Programme Director for Manufacturing, Supply, and Distribution. Ron earned a Ph.D. in Behavioral and Counseling Psychology from the University of Mississippi and completed an Executive Leadership program at IMD.
