Barbara Guinn is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in biomedical sciences, currently serving as a Reader in Biomedical Sciences at Hull York Medical School since September 2016. Barbara holds the designation of Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy at both Hull and previously at the University of Bedfordshire, contributing to the enhancement of teaching quality in higher education. Barbara's editorial leadership as Founding Editor-in-Chief of Biomarkers in Cancer from January 2007 to January 2020 reflects a strong commitment to advancing research in the field.
