Dwina Howey

Dwina Howey is an experienced consultant and contractor specializing in artist relations, logistics, and educational programming, notably with the Lionel Hampton International Jazz Festival since November 2004. As Owner and CEO of Jazz-Works since June 2008, Dwina provides consulting and program assistance to jazz presenters, festivals, and educational organizations, focusing on online education and outreach initiatives. Previous roles include serving as a volunteer in the Sitka School District's music programs, assisting the Sitka Jazz Festival with logistical support, and working as an accompanist and music specialist at Mt. Edgecumbe High School. Additionally, Dwina served as the Executive Director of the Sitka Fine Arts Camp from April 1994 to April 1996. Dwina holds a degree from the University of Idaho, completed between 2006 and 2012.
