Todd Mordhorst

Todd Mordhorst is the Executive Communications Manager at University of Idaho. Todd has over 18 years of experience in the field of communications.

Todd started their career as a staff writer at the Chico Enterprise-Record in February 2003. In January 2004, they became the sports editor at the Auburn Journal. Todd held this position for nearly nine years before moving on to California State University, Sacramento in June 2012, where they worked as a writer/communications specialist for three years. In March 2015, Todd began working as the communications coordinator at Washington State University, where they remained until September 2021 when they took their current position at University of Idaho.

Todd has extensive experience in all aspects of communications, from writing and editing to strategy and media relations. Todd is a master communicator with a proven track record of success in both higher education and the corporate world.

Todd Mordhorst attended the University of Idaho where they earned their B.S. in Journalism. Todd also attended Moscow High School.
