David Albouy is a Professor of Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where responsibilities have included serving as an Associate Professor since August 2013. In addition, David Albouy is a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and CIRANO, roles undertaken since September 2015 and October 2010, respectively. Previous experience includes an Assistant Professor of Economics position at the University of Michigan from September 2007 to August 2013 and a visiting scholar role at New York University for a year. Academic qualifications include a B.A. in History, Philosophy, and Economics from McGill University, an M.A. in Economics from Yale University, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
