Gokhan Tur is a Research Professor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign since September 2023. Previously, Gokhan held significant roles in major technology companies, including Senior Principal Scientist at Amazon Alexa AI from February 2020 to April 2023, Director of Conversational AI at Uber from February 2018 to February 2020, and Deep Conversational Language Understanding Area Technical Lead Manager at Google Research from July 2016 to February 2018.
