Jon Salvani

Jon Salvani is a seasoned advancement professional with extensive experience in fundraising and alumni engagement, particularly within higher education. Notably, Jon served as Associate Dean for Advancement at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from January 2011 to October 2022, overseeing initiatives for the College of Fine and Applied Arts and managing a team of nine advancement professionals. Previous positions at the University include Assistant Dean for Advancement, Director of Advancement for the Chicago Regional team, and Director of Advancement for the College of Engineering's Department of Computer Science. Prior to their tenure at the University of Illinois, Jon held senior development roles at Lewis University and Northern Illinois University, where responsibilities included gift and estate planning and alumni engagement. Jon holds a Master of Science in Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Communication from Northern Illinois University.
